As a provider, how can I test my own service?

After you set your WEPN pod up, you may want to test it before giving access to your friends or family or before you try it out while traveling. Below are the steps:

1. While at home and with your mobile phone connected to your home WiFi network visit https://ipinfo.io/ and take note of the IP address as your "Home IP".
2. On you WEPN mobile app, add a "Friend" for yourself and copy the access link. Pick the default (shadowsocks) type.
3. Install Outline client.
4. Add the link you copied in step 1 to the Outline client.
5. Turn off WiFi (very important step).
6. visit https://ipinfo.io/ and take note of the IP address as your "Cellular IP". Make sure it's not the same as your Home IP from step 1.
7. Try to connect Outline by tapping on the large green button.
8. Once it connects, visit https://ipinfo.io/ and observe that the IP it shows is still your home IP (from step 1) and not your cellular provider (step 5).
9. At this point you can disconnect your VPN and reconnect to WiFi.

Please note that residential routers have limitation that cannot handle connecting to the VPN server from inside the same network, and then routing it to the internet. That's why in step 5 we ask you to turn off your WiFi.
